Sarcoidosis Diet- Natural Diet Essentials To Help Achieve Sarcoidosis Remission

At present, a natural sarcoidosis diet is showing immense promise in treating this specifically debilitating disease. In addition to reducing disagreeable and unpleasant symptoms like fatigue, sore lungs, breathlessness, swollen glands and a skin sores, many patients are indicating total remission of their disease.

As you probably know, your body has an astonishing capacity to heal itself, no matter which disease has struck. Once provided with the appropriate foods, your own cells are able to purify and repair themselves and then assist the recovery of your health and life. So just what are these food products that contribute towards an effective sarcoidosis diet?

An alkalising diet based around an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables is absolutely vital. These natural foods are enzyme and antioxidant rich, as well as containing roughage that cleanse and rebalance the  pH within your cells. Juicing your fruit and vegetables will also greatly enhance the healing process.

Also important within the sarcoidosis diet should be to eliminate food that creates acid as these hamper and destroy cell functionality. Examples of these kinds of toxic food products are alcohol, coffee, additives, preservatives, trans fatty acids and chemical compounds. Carbohydrate intake should also be minimised as this tends to cause an aggravation of any inflammation present.

In order to optimize your sarcoidosis diet even further, adding curative herbs and nutrients should be an important step. Herbs like ginger, peppermint, milk thistle plus immune-balancing Chinese herbs are proving to have beneficial effects for sarcoid sufferers. Anti-inflammatory compounds like vitamin C, zinc plus fish oil might also be utilised to repair damaged tissues and prohibit further harm. The clumps of granulomas present in sarcoidosis patients can be broken down by the application of animal and plant sourced enzymes.

The beneficial foods contained within the sarcoidosis diet need to be at the forefront of the fight against this malicious, debilitating disease. A major advantage over traditional, conventional medicines, is that these foods and supplements do not have unwanted, negative or potentially dangerous side effects. They are also cheap and readily available from local sources.

If you are struggling to beat sarcoidosis and fed up of taking potentially dangerous drugs and medicines then the appropriate diet contained within the Sarcoidosis Cookbook could be the answer.

This all natural diet is showing impressive results in promoting and maintaining Sarcoidosis Remission.

What is Sarcoidosis? How Does it Affect Your Lungs?

Your doctor has diagnosed you with Sarcoidosis, now you need to know, what is Sarcoidosis? Since Sarcoidosis affects so many organs, this article will address how Sarcoidosis affects the lungs, the symptoms, and some practical advice.

What is Sarcoidosis as a disease?

Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory, auto-immune disease characterized by coughing, fatigues, difficulty in breathing, joint pain, swollen lymph nodes, and various other organs. Inflammation of Sarcoidosis produces tiny lumps of cells in various organs in your body called granulomas because they look like grains of sugar or sand. They are very small and can be seen only with a microscope.

What is Sarcoidosis of the Lung?

Sarcoidosis of the lungs is commonly called Pulmonary Sarcoidosis. The lungs are the most commonly affected organ in Sarcoidosis shown by the fact that 90% or more of people with Sarcoidosis have lung involvement, whether they have symptoms or not. Symptoms are most often dry coughing, trouble breathing, wheezing, or pain with breathing chest pain, tightness, and discomfort as well as upper back pain.

In Sarcoidosis, 20% to 30% of patients suffer some permanent damage, usually to the lungs. Sarcoidosis can be quite severe and cause permanent debilitation. In about 5% to 10% of cases, it can even be life threatening.

Tests used to diagnose Pulmonary Sarcoidosis include:

• Biopsies. This is usually a lung or lymph node sample that allows the doctor to look for granulomas (done if there are abnormalities on your chest x-ray.

• Pulmonary Function. This test measures how well your lungs are working.

• Fiber Optic Bronchoscopy. Your doctor uses a scope to look inside your lungs for scarring and inflammation in your airways.

• Imaging Technology. X-ray images and a number of sophisticated imaging tools are available that can detect inflammation and disease in the lungs. Computed tomography (CT) scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are probably the most commonly available of these technologies.

Treatment of Pulmonary Sarcoidosis

Many people with Sarcoidosis will not require any treatment at all. Sarcoidosis is often mild and usually goes away on its own within several years without causing serious damage. However, in up to 30 percent of people, the disease lasts a long time or a lifetime. It can also worsen over time. Proper physician care is of the utmost importance.

If you have recently been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis you will soon come to realize that finding a doctor who understands sarcoidosis can be difficult. Most cases of Sarcoid are diagnosed by primary physicians, mines was recognized by my chiropractor and diagnosed by my rheumatologist, then there are many patients who try to seek the help of a sarcoidosis specialist which can be recommended by your primary physician or family doctor. However, if your doctor is unable to assist you, you can contact the nearest hospital or health center and ask for the department that cares for patients with sarcoidosis - you may even find a hospital with a center that specializes in Sarcoidosis.

Sarcoidosis Symptoms- Ignore These Symptoms At Your Peril

Sarcoidosis symptoms can vary a great deal. In some people, the disease displays mild symptoms and can disappear of its own accord. In others, the symptoms can be debilitating, with sufferers out of action for weeks or months , and in severe cases, particularly when the heart or brain is involved, can clearly be fatal.

Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory autoimmune disease characterized by the formation of granuloma, primarily in the lungs, but it can affect any organ in the body. The following are some of the symptoms that can occur, shown in association with the area of the body targeted.

Lungs - Coughing, breathlessness ,wheezing ,tiredness and chest pain are some of the symptoms displayed when the lungs are involved, which is the case in roughly 90% of the patients that contract sarcoidosis.

Heart - Abnormal heart beat, chest pain and heart failure can result from the heart muscle being attacked by sarcoidosis. Obviously, once sarcoidosis has affected the heart, then there is a much greater danger of complications, and in some cases, death from the illness.

Brain - It is vitally important that sarcoidosis brain symptoms be treated urgently. They can involve weakness, dizziness, facial weakness, delirium, dementia and sometimes upsets in taste, hearing and smell.

Liver - Symptoms may involve nausea, yellowing of the eyes, weight loss, fever, anorexia and a feeling of general malaise. Cirrhosis, enlarged or fatty liver may also occur as a result.

Skin - A rash or purple patches are experienced in about 20% of sarcoidosis sufferers, usually appearing on the face, arms, legs and buttocks. Clearly, an embarrassing experience which can often lead to social isolation of many patients.

Kidneys - Sarcoidosis symptoms in the kidneys may manifest themselves by the formation of kidney stones or pain.

Eyes - Eye inflammation and symptoms such as tears, field defects and blurred vision are indications that the eyes may have been affected.

Lymph Nodes - Swollen and tender lymph nodes are a common occurrence, with swollen glands felt in areas such as the groin, armpit and neck. In some cases these swellings may be identified through X rays of lungs or other affected areas.

Bones - Joints in the feet and hands in particular may be subject to swelling and much pain.

Nervous System - Muscle weakness, poor co-ordination and shaking are typical of the sarcoidosis symptoms that arise with the involvement of the nervous system.

Diagnosis is not easy and errors can be made, due to the variation of sarcoidosis symptoms. Blood tests, X-rays and biopsies can all be used to confirm diagnosis. Normal medicinal treatment for sarcoidosis symptoms involves corticosteroids. However, the use of steroids can induce unwanted and potentially harmful side effects. These can include osteoporosis, hypertension and liver damage amongst others.

What is really needed, is a treatment that addresses the underlying causes of the illness, and not just a cosmetic cover up of the symptoms.

Fortunately , much progress has been made in the field of natural treatments. One such breakthrough, natural sarcoidosis treatment is the Aden Protocol.

This concept, has an amazing record of inducing sarcoidosis remission at an incredible 82% success rate. Worldwide proof from trials, demonstrates that on completing the entire course, full remission or at the very least, major improvement can be achieved.

Totally avoid the potential dangerous drug treatment and use the system proven to induce sarcoidosis remission the natural way.
